Paul Harris Fellow - Rotarian Robert Hall

At our Annual Club Changeover on 27 June 2005, the Rotary Club of Canberra South Inc. named its newest Paul Harris Fellow - Rotarian Robert Hall.

This is the text of the citation:

Paul Harris Fellow – Rotarian Robert Hall

The recipient of our Paul Harris Fellowship award this evening is Robert Hall.

Robert joined the Rotary Club of Canberra-South in September 2002.

As a former Global Youth Exchange student Robert soon showed a flair for Youth Service and was quickly groomed to take on the role of host GYE Counsellor and then as Youth Service Director since the start of the 2003/2004 Rotary year.

Robert has proven to be a commited and valuable Rotarian in whatever role he accepts. He can always be relied upon to fulfil all the requirements of that role and more. He is an extremely reliable person who this year not only served in the busy Youth Service Director position for a second term but also produced the Club bulletin to a very high standard and achieving a very difficult feat of producing a Bulletin for every single week in the year! Additionally, he mentored a Young Achievement Australia group.

Robert is a fine example of Service Above Self to other Rotarians and is held in very high regard.

It is presumably in recognition of his high standards and abilities that Robert has been appointed to the District 9710 position of Youth Director overseeing the whole Youth portfolio in District.

Robert is therefore is very suitably qualified to be awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship.
