Special Club Visit to Government House

A Special Meeting Venue

On Monday, 13 February 2006, members, family and friends of the Rotary Club of Canberra South paid a visit to Government House, in Yarralumla in Canberra. Truly a great privilege and a wonderful experience for us all.

We were shown around the House and grounds by the House Manager and his deputy. We were also accompanied by Her Excellency, Mrs Marlene Jefferies for part of our tour.

We were shown in all the public rooms of the House. We were treated to wonderful, detailed explanations of the various pieces of art and furniture in the House and how the House operates.

The photos below chronicle our visit to Government House.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and are so grateful to their Excellencies for allowing a special visit by us.
